TABATA

A Tabata workout is an excellent option for those who are short on time.

The Tabata workout is just 4-minutes long, but with bursts of high-intensity exercise and little rest, the purpose is to improve your fitness levels in a short period of time. 

Add weights to make the exercises more challenging.

There are songs mainly designed for Tabatas and are available on youtube.


Workout: 20 seconds work / 10 seconds rest

Complete 2 rounds of T1 before moving to T2 etc.

Rest 30-45 seconds between each round.


T1:

Jumping Jacks 

Squat

Alternating lunges 

Squat hold 


T2:

Half Burpees

Mountain climbers

Flutter kicks 

Elbow plank 


T3:

Push-ups 

Dumbbell curls 

Dips 

Shoulder taps 


T4:

Sprint on the spot

Primal squat

Pike touches

Back extension
